Hello,
so here it is, I have a problem (not without jokes!):
I have an HP Pavilion tx1930ef, originally running Windows Vista Premium, and I upgraded to Windows 7, and my problem is that the buttons on the sides of the screen (quick launch buttons) no longer work. I have done some research and seen that they worked with the QuickPlay software.

In short: where can I download QuickPlay for Windows 7 Ultimate?
Thanks for your answers.
Configuration: Windows 7 Internet Explorer 8.0

    Hello,

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my HP dv9700 series.

After several attempts, I managed to install QuickPlay and QuickDVD with this version:

    See you!

    Hello everyone,

Well, I have an HPPavilion dv7-1160ek, after the update to Windows 7, the quickplay button was not working, I searched on the HP website and found this, ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46731.exe, it works 100%, there is even a beep in the digital keys, but I think you need to change the brand of your HP before proceeding with the download. Here’s how to do it
    1- go here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/siteHome?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=en

2- enter your product in "Enter product number"

    3- click on next

4- in "Alerts for this product," click on "Windows 7 Upgrade Options for Notebooks"

5- a little further down in "Notebooks compatible with Windows 7," click on "Downloads page for software and drivers"

6- click on your appropriate operating system: for example Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

7- you will have a whole series of updates for your hp, choose "HP Quick Launch Buttons"

    8- click on "Download"

9- when the download is complete, run it, and when they ask you to look for an online update due to a product incompatibility with windows 7, click on "Run the Program"

10- restart your computer and that's it.

    Good execution to everyone.

If you ever find it, share! I'm in the same situation!
And if it can help you with other drivers like the graphics card:

    very useful!

For the HP launch button, the Windows 7 driver is available on the HP website in English.

I had the same problem after upgrading from Vista to Windows 7. It was very annoying because I could no longer activate my WI-FI card.
In the HP support (HP site) look for the drivers corresponding to your PC for Windows 7. You will probably find the Quick Launch button driver (or the equivalent term in French). Persist, even if it gives you an error message when installing it.
For now, HP seems completely unaware of the issues caused by the transition to W7 on its devices.
Their responses are even dangerous. The hotline even recommended that I change the motherboard of my laptop.... That speaks volumes about how incompetent they are.
As for me, QuickPlay seems to be acting up and in particular it no longer seems to recognize my TV tuner... Fortunately, Windows Media Center works correctly.

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion dv5-1135ef with Vista. The TV card with TNT works very well, but when I switched to Windows 7, it no longer works. I can't find a compatible Quick Play software for my PC.

For the quick launch button, you need to go to the HP website and, under support, identify your device and download the update for Windows 7.

For Quickplay, it's a problem. It no longer recognizes my external TNT tuner (which worked on Vista). No update seems to exist on the site ...

Please, I already tried TNT tuner once on Windows 7 and it worked, but now I can't solve the problem on another version of 7.

I clarify. My external tuner works under Windows 7, but not with QuickPlay which seems to want to force me to buy an HP tuner!!!
Are you experiencing the same issue?
What is HP's game in this matter?

Hi, you see, I found another solution:
to use Windows Media Center which is well installed on W7 and detects the TNT tuner well, and Quick Play. You can download another version for other uses like internet TV and video, that is, everything that is media without the tuner.

We had exactly the same problem and we solved it in the same way by not using Quick Play for the TV...
    THANK YOU
    See you!
