Hello, I'm reaching out to you because I have a big problem. Here it is:
I have a desktop PC that contains 2 versions of Windows. At startup, one is an old non-functional version that opens "Troubleshoot", the diagnostics tool, and the other was a functional version of Windows 7.
I decided to reinstall Windows 7 to clean up my PC, but the installation encountered an error just before finishing and reverted the changes made. Now, when I try to turn on the PC, I get: Administrator:
X:$WINDOWS.~Bt\Windows\system32\cmd.exe
Microsoft Windows [version 6.1.7600]
X:$WINDOWS.~Bt\Windows\system32>
So now when I try to start it without the USB key (Windows 7), I'm faced with a command prompt with the data provided above.
Now when I try to perform the installation again with the USB key, accessing it via the startup menu with ESC at the computer's launch gives me the choice to continue the installation or open Windows. However, opening gives the same result as before, and continuing the installation does too.
I also tried with a Windows 10 USB key, but it doesn’t work either. I absolutely need help, PLEASE!
