Hello,
I am currently sharing an apartment in Cologne and up to now we had a connection with Net Cologne with which I connected to our network via Wi-Fi and everything was working very well.
I went on vacation and upon my return I learned that Net Cologne technicians came to install a new modem so that we could have a faster connection. So we have a new network; I asked one of my roommates for the key to connect, but it no longer works on my computer, even though it works on her computer as well as on my other roommate’s computer.
For information, I have an Acer model that isn’t very new, with Windows XP.
I don’t know much about computers... Who can help me and tell me what could be the reasons for this malfunction, and how I can fix it?
What surprises me is that it only doesn’t work on my PC, and everything worked perfectly before this modem change.
Thank you for your help!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello,
First you can try testing your network card:
Open a command prompt "MS-DOS" then enter "ping 127.0.0.1" and see if your 4 packets sent were received.
See you later -
