Hello,

ON MAC: A few days ago, I downloaded a nds rom of Dragon Quest V, but early in the game I

get stuck... so I went online and discovered that it's because the game is secured.

To unsecure it, you need a patch for this game, but in this patch, there is a .bat file that we have to read, but

on a Mac, I don't know how to do it...

Can you tell me how to run .bat files on Mac, thanks
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 530.19

Hello, I know it's been a year since the post was published and that it's no longer useful to respond, but I would like to provide an explanation of .bat files so that anyone who, like me, stumbles upon this post via Google even long after can benefit from it. For others, I apologize for bringing up such an old topic!

To start with, the .bat extension is used for batch files. A batch file is a file (which can be easily edited or created with Notepad) containing DOS command lines to be executed automatically when the file is launched.

In conclusion, a .bat file cannot be run on Mac or Linux for the simple reason that it does not speak the same language.

Once again, sorry for the others.

Hello
If I'm not mistaken, .bat files are the previous copies of .exe files, the doubles, so PC files don’t work on Mac
Best regards

It's somewhat the equivalent of today's .Jar files, isn't it? If not, what is the equivalent, because I have some .bat files for an application? Could I rewrite them in .jar or others?
