Hello,

I lost the serial number of a game and I saw on some forums that it can be found in a file on the computer. But the file in question is a .reg format and I can't open it on my Mac.

What should I do???

Thanks in advance :)

    Hello,

a .reg file on Mac is a registry file specific to the editor. If you manage to open it, you may not necessarily know how to utilize its content.

However, I don't understand the need to open it. Indeed, if this file is in its proper place on the Mac, the related software should launch....

    Have a good day

Alright, but since the recording file is already on the Mac, the game should work.

A .reg file is not specific to its editor; it is a registry file for Windows.

      GOOD EVENING,

A .reg file can be of different types, including those from the editor, and can also exist on Mac OS.

      Have a good evening.
