Hello, for a while now, I have a big problem:
When I open Ramboost XP, it shows me in my information that my IP address is: 169.xxx.xxx.xxx
Likewise when I connect to IRC.
However, when I check my IP on this site:
http://www.adresseip.com/
My IP address is: 84.xxx.xxx.xxx
So I don't understand how I can have just one :/.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance.

So the first address is indeed the address of your Ethernet card apparently...
the other being assigned to your modem internet connection ...

Hi
in my humble opinion, the first address is that of your local PC and the second one is that of your proxy, visible from the outside.

Well ...
Click on start/run, type "cmd" and press "Enter". In the black DOS window, type "ipconfig /all"
tell me what you see

IP autoconfiguration: 164.xxx.xxx.xxx
Subnet mask: 255.xxx.xxx.xxx
PPP card 9 telecom:
IP address: 84.xxx.xxx.xxx

You must go through an HTTP proxy or a VPN tunnel, which would explain your two public addresses.
You should inquire with your service provider.
