EBP opening error

Hello, I installed EBP on a network of 10 stations, version V13.1. I had a V11 version and I updated. When I open a folder in the software, a message appears: "It is not possible to retrieve the information of this folder for password verification (error 161 while reading the info.btr file)! Please try to restore a backup of the folder."
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    We had the same problem. We uninstalled Pervasive to reinstall it in Workgroup version for single-user or client/server for network.
    This solved the problem.

      Does this solution also work for error code 81?
      I have EBP 2002.

    Yes, same problem on a 4-seat license. I tried to reinstall everything, including SQL, but nothing works! Moreover, the EBP site itself is down today. I did a Vista update yesterday and there is probably a compatibility issue.
