Hello everyone,
I am quite annoyed. My printer, which is new - no more than a month old - and that I use daily, is no longer printing! It's a Xerox Phaser 3250
About a week ago, one of the two indicator lights turned red, as if there was a paper jam... but there wasn't. No message either. This didn't stop me from continuing to print.
When I turn my printer off and back on, the lower light starts flashing green and the characteristic noises of the startup occur. Then, the green light goes off and the top one lights up red. If I initiate a print job, everything stays still, whereas before the green light would blink, the red one always on, and the printing process would work. I wonder what kind of malfunction could affect a practically new machine! Thank you for helping me clarify this.

NB: my find was on a Phaser 6610; but since the symptom was the same as with your printer, you might find a solution here...
So I found something while observing the imaging unit. On the left side of it, there is a gray L-shaped part; it was not properly seated. (You wouldn't even think that this part could come out of the imaging unit, since it has a handle that seems made for removing the entire imaging block...Never trust appearances!! ;-))
After putting everything back in the device, "vroom vroom!!", and the light turned green again!
Hoping to have helped you.
(I had taken a photo specially for the occasion, but I don't know how to include a photo in these posts)
