Hello,
I have been using Skype for almost 3 months now, and during a video/audio conversation with a contact, I wanted to send a file while we were chatting but I couldn't. However, he can send me files. When I tried, a window opened and it said "you cannot send a file to this contact because he is not sharing these details with you."
Can you help me find a solution to be able to send him files during a video/audio conversation???
Thank you.

Hi, the person to whom you send files must share or rather accept you in their contacts, and then it will work like MSN. You need to accept an invitation to share files; it's the same system.

You can talk to someone without them agreeing to share their profile or details if they are the one who hasn't shared the information.

It's true what Skype tells you, so that's the problem. If you succeeded and it's working, you will check the resolved box. Thank you for responding.

I'm in the same situation; I can receive images and files without being able to intervene, and others don't receive anything I try to send because it says "File not available" or "Image not available," and this has been happening since the update!
