Hello,
Please, I would like to know how Incredimail works with Yahoo! Mail. I tried with Yahoo! Mail help and Incredimail help, but nothing helps; I can only transfer my messages from Yahoo! Mail to Incredimail, but I cannot send them.
Thank you in advance!

I am at Darty and to use Yahoo through Incredimail it was quite simple for me. I don’t know if it works with all ISPs, you have to try, at Darty it’s superb. Here is how I proceeded: in Incredimail: click Tools. click Accounts. click Add. enter the name and the email address. Type of server: pop3. Incoming mail server: pop.mail.yahoo.fr. Outgoing mail server: smtp. your ISP’s outgoing server. Example: I have Dartybox, my outgoing server is: smtp.dbmail.com. enter your name corresponding to the Yahoo address. example: pierredupont@yahoo.fr: name: pierredupont. enter the password of your Yahoo account. check: remember password. check: my server requires authentication. click: more parameters. check: connection using: enter your server’s email address: free, orange, sfr, darty.. and enter the corresponding password. (do not type the Yahoo address). Example: pierredupont@free.fr. check: remember password. be sure not to check: connect using password authentication. ok. I should add that I tested at Darty, it works perfectly for sending and receiving. I do not guarantee for other ISPs. So you have to try. good luck to everyone and be patient.

If it's like Thunderbird, Incredimail can't work properly with a Yahoo address if you haven't configured the SMTP server with a customer’s ISP account.

Sorry, I might be being an idiot, but I wanted to know what an ISP actually is?
Because actually I’m trying to install IncrediMail but it asks for Yahoo POP and SMTP, but I don’t know them.
I have a Yahoo.com account because I live in the States
Thanks in advance.- Hello Zeus, the ISP is the internet service provider with which you have your internet subscription, like Wanadoo. Each provider has a POP server for receiving and an SMTP server for sending messages. So you create an account under the name of your provider, e.g., exp machain@wanadoo.tn (for Wanadoo), and you configure this account in IncrediMail and make sure it works (send and receive), then you open the browser and normally access your Yahoo account; once there, click on Options in your Yahoo account, then click on Forwarding and POP Access, fill out the form and save. Once that’s done, go back to IncrediMail and configure it with the Yahoo account (POP address: pop.mail.yahoo.com and SMTP address: smtp.mail.yahoo.com). You will now be able to receive your emails on IncrediMail, but sending is not guaranteed—that’s my problem, and it appears to be paid.
- Thank you for your message, but I’m on Wi-Fi and I’m in an apartment where there is no internet, so actually my computer grabs internet wherever it can. So I don’t know what my internet server is, sorry.
Can I still set up Incredimail, even if I don’t know my internet server?
Thank you really for your message.

Your ISP is your Internet service provider, for example Free or Wanadoo...
Thunderbird is also a mail client; let's set it aside since you're using Incredimail...
To be able to use a Yahoo address with Incredimail, you must first create in this software an account for your provider.
Then, after you have verified that it works for sending and receiving, you create your Yahoo account.
Once done, log in to Yahoo Mail via your browser.
Click on Mail Options.
Click on Forwarding and then on POP Access.
Choose Web Access and POP and click Validate.
Then, type the following in the URL window:
http://subscribe.yahoo.com/deliver?.redir_from=REGISTRATION
or click on it directly.
Enter your username and password first if the session is not already opened.
In the Subscription section, select Yes and click Validate at the bottom of the page; the other options do not need to be changed.
Although at first glance there is no relation to proper operation in a third-party mail software, if this operation is not performed, you will not be able to send messages.
Now, Incredimail should work...
Note: you must repeat this operation for every new Yahoo account created in Incredimail.-

I’m fine with it after reading and trying several ways to configure Yahoo on IncrediMail X e
now it works but I haven’t yet checked sending; for receiving it works. Let me tell you, it’s simply a matter of allowing outgoing messages by enabling POP in your Yahoo mailbox
thank you very much to you, especially to the whole team of how it works -

So, you need to go to Tools > Accounts...
you must select the Yahoo account in question and click on "Properties" and there, only, click on the Advanced tab
There you just have to follow the instructions I gave last time.
Normally, you will find it.... otherwise contact me again. -
Did you properly configure your Yahoo! account by going to Yahoo Mail, as indicated above? (Mail option > Forwarding....)
Courage, we’ll surely get there! -

Hi there,
I tried this method but still the same message, the outgoing mail isn’t working
I’m starting to despair LOOOL -
Hello,
I tried to follow your instructions but I still can’t send emails via IncrediMail (I’d like to use my Yahoo address); they stay in my Outbox. In Tools - Accounts (of IncrediMail) I clicked Properties, then in Account Name I entered my AOL address, then in User Information I entered my Yahoo address. I did go to Yahoo Mail options and clicked the link, but nothing changed. In Server, I entered POP.aol.com and SMTP.aol.com. Could you tell me if I’m making a mistake somewhere? Thanks.-
Hello,
I couldn't send my Yahoo messages via Incrédimail. It was just a configuration issue:
I went into the Yahoo account properties. In the advanced tab, you need to check "this server requires a secure SSL connection" and enter 465 in the "Outgoing mail" box, and there you go, that's all good for me.
