Incredimail messaging issue

I receive emails but the sender does not appear, there are only numbers and letters, and the header reads:

This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand
this format, some or all of this message may not be legible.

I am using IncrediMail as my email client.

What is the problem and how can I resolve it?

Socket Error: 10060, Port: 25, Protocol: SMTP. A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond within a certain time or an established connection failed because the host did not respond.

Check the configuration

Tool
account
choose the relevant address
enter the supplier's details

as an example for Free

incoming mail server pop.free.fr
outgoing mail server smtp.free.fr


username whatever you want
password the one provided by your supplier


Make sure to delete the mail in progress (it will never be sent and will block those to come)

Hello,
I have several email accounts with a host and one email account with my Internet Service Provider. In Incredimail, the one from my ISP works well, but the one from my host no longer works; I receive messages but can no longer send them.
I haven't changed the settings that were working fine until now in Incredimail. Since the New Year, it has been blocked.

my only question is how to delete the occasional addresses that automatically register in the address book.

Hello,

You have certainly long found the way to remove occasional addresses from your Incredimail inbox. If not... you scroll down the drop-down list using the down arrow on your keyboard, and when the address you want to delete is highlighted, you delete it with the delete key.

So for the moment, IncrediMail doesn't support this format and never will!!!!

I just have to go back to Outlook. What should I expect if I want to get rid of it?

I see that a lot of people are having problems with Incredimail; personally, I have no issues

I think all your problems come from the fact that the POP and SMTP servers are not set up correctly

I have several accounts on Incredimail, and I send and receive emails just fine

Also, to properly configure your servers according to your Internet Service Provider, please visit the

For now, you only have one problem, but if you continue, you'll have plenty of problems. I uninstalled Incredimail, not without difficulty by the way, because that was a problem too!!! It's true that it was nice, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
There are very many of us who have had problems, and I'm not even talking about the spams... Well, it's up to you to decide! :-))

Well, you’re lucky. I would like IncrediMail to respond to me, but I don't know how to reach them. For example, I have a friend who sent me an email at 8:05 AM, and I just received it now, and it’s 1:05 PM, and this happens almost every day. Anyway, I don't believe you; it's impossible that you can give a 10/10, it's really a mess, my email. Hi, Incredimail is a nice piece of crap, to get rid of it, go to My Computer, choose your hard drive then the Incredimail directory, then right-click, delete; if it doesn't want to leave, right-click, rename it to whatever you want except of course Incredimail and delete it, that should work. Bye

Well, I've been using IncrediMail for over 2 years and haven't had any problems.
In my opinion, you misconfigured it.

Hello everyone,

there is an alternative to Outlook that in my opinion is worth its weight in gold and is completely free.
it's Mozilla Thunderbird, or even the complete Mozilla suite which includes an email client in addition to the web browser.

check it out at www.mozilla.org

it might make you happy.

PS: I've never had any MIME type issues with Thunderbird, which handles them perfectly.

I have the same issue, Gwendo, and it's annoying grrrr Incredimail prevents the sending of my emails, the error is the SMTP port 25, yet I have repaired Incredimail and even uninstalled it, nothing works. Could you help us find an equivalent to Incredimail?

I also have Incredimail blocked but it's AOL that is blocking it for me.. So I'm using Outlook Express. Plus, you have the same services
And I just found a little software on Google to send our voice on Outlook.. Incredimail is a thing of the past.
