Issue with Facebook on Opera

Question

Hello, when I go on Facebook using the Opera browser, the buttons for validating applications (like a quiz result, for example) do not work, I click, the "OK" button presses down but the small window does not disappear. However, I have no problem browsing with Mozilla Firefox.
If you have a solution that would be cool, thanks.

Configuration: Windows XP Opera 9.64

Hello, as Arki mentioned earlier, the latest version "Opera 10 beta 2" is on the market with new interesting features and a fix for previous issues. The problem with Facebook has been resolved, so download the latest version and make sure to check in the options if your Java is properly enabled and configured.

I have to admit that I won't be able to answer you, I don't use Opera, but by the way, I have a small question, my Facebook login doesn't work via Mozilla, I have to go through Internet Explorer, does anyone have a solution?

I have the same problem on Opera. Facebook displays very poorly, it's impossible to validate the "tests", or to choose friends for many applications while it works perfectly with Firefox and IE... I'm looking for a possible solution and I'll keep you updated if I find anything...

Exactly the same issue: Everything, absolutely everything works except for the test validation, and this has been the case since the end of May. I tried with IE7 and it works. The problem comes from Opera, but why? What should be done? Thank you for your help.

Apparently with the next version of Opera (currently in beta) there won't be these issues anymore ;) I haven't tested it yet but a lot of people have said so... just need to wait! Have a good day! :)

I just had the same issue and I solved it by going to the menu/settings/preferences

go to the advanced tab, enable JavaScript if it is not done, and then check all the boxes except for "open the console in case of an error" (because it's annoying xD it opens anytime)

I had the boxes "allow closing a window" and "allow opening a window" unchecked and since I checked them, it works.

Normally, you should be able to publish messages again, hit "ok" etc.
