Hello,
I would like to ask how to disable Power Saving in BIOS? So that I can stop having a black screen when I do a Drive Fitness Test.
My motherboard is an ACER EG31M (Version R01-A3).
I think it's in the Power Management section, but I don't know which one to turn off..

Thank you
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.10

I completely understand their problem, as I experience the same thing... It seems to be specific to LG screens after a quick Google search:
after a period of inactivity, the screen turns blue with this message: "analog power saving mode", then the screen goes black and turns off...
I find myself having to force shut down the computer to get the screen working again...

How can I disable this feature???
Knowing that in power management, all sleep options are already disabled (set to "never"...)

That is to say, when you leave the computer open for a while without doing anything, it will attempt to enter "Power Saving" mode, like screen savers. However, when the OS is not activated, for example, when starting Memtest (to test the RAM) or Drive Fitness Test (to check for errors on the hard drive), before the hard drive, you need to change this Power Saving mode in the BIOS. However, I can't find the option in the BIOS, as I don't venture in there often. And I absolutely need to know how to do this in order to read the results. (Because during the test, the mouse is disabled, causing the monitor to go into "sleep" mode.)

You are using English terms that are not used in technical computing, and we don't understand anything.....
In short, the option you are looking for (power saving) is probably the "ACPI suspend type," for which several options exist (S1, S3, and sometimes S2, depending on the BIOS)
But these are in no way sleep setting parameters, but rather stand-by only.
It's Windows that triggers the sleep mode, and the settings above determine the type of sleep mode, nuance.
I didn't understand the essence of your problem, but you won't find it in the BIOS; it is indeed Windows that triggers it, and then the BIOS applies it.
