I suggest two loggers
The first one can almost do everything: Ripping, re-encoding, cutting, pasting, applying filters, subtitles... it has a simple mode and an expert mode, and it’s free. It’s called Ripp-It-After Me 5.
The second one will only allow you to rip DVDs to DivX with several options for audio and video quality. It’s Auto Gordian Knot.
For everyone using XP, don’t forget to install ASPI drivers.
The term ASPI is an acronym that stands for "Advanced SCSI Programming Interface." Basically, ASPI drivers are an interface that sits between different programs (the software part) and certain devices such as CD-ROM drives or burners (the hardware part).
ASPI is used by the operating system as well as by certain programs to communicate with devices and perform related tasks: getting information about the inserted CD, ripping audio tracks from a CD, burning, etc.
NOTE: Although the term ASPI refers to SCSI-type devices, ASPI is also used on systems that have no such devices or adapters.
Happy ripping and see you later
Download Ripp It After Me

if you want to rip your protected DVD, you need to download DVD Shrink at the bottom of the page.
It will save your DVD,
but I couldn't manage to compress it into a 700 MB file so that I could burn it onto a CD.

Hi Grandpa, I'm one of those!
I say if DVD Shrink converts your dual-layer DVD into a single-layer file (DVD 9), it can be burned onto a 4.7GB disc (as a DVD). If you want to rip it to Divx, do it with Neodivx, which will give you an excellent .avi file with Divx video and MP3 audio (you can configure other things, but this is compatible with standalone players). In this case, you rip directly from the original DVD; it takes a bit of time, but the result is worth it (all these software programs are free on Clubic, 01.net, and telecharger.com).

You just have to wait for a strong freeze... go outside, choose a flat area, run and in a smooth motion place it on the ground while sitting on it to let yourself slide with it. Once done, you throw it in the trash and go for therapy, you'll see it will do you good not to have such terrible tastes in music.
Bonjour, je recherche un logiciel rapide et gratuit pour convertir DVD en DivX version française pour PC Vista. Merci.
A simple, free, and efficient software Lazarus: http://www.neodivx.be/neodivx/neodivx.html
converts DVDs to DivX or XviD, as well as AVI files. I use it to convert my DVDs and put them on my home hard drive (works for XP, Vista, and Linux).

Hello
if the DVD copy protections allow it, try DVD SHRINK, you'll have the DVD a bit compressed on your computer and you can play it with VLC for example

Hello, download NEODIVX, a Belgian site that you can find on Google. This free and easy-to-use software rips your DVDs to DivX directly, except for those with severe anti-copy protections.
Hi
Hi
Before I was using DVD Fab but the demo doesn't work anymore, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't work, I don't know what to do RRRRRRRRRRR
http://www.ripp-it.com/down/telecharger_ripp-it_Ri4m_pack_de_codecs.html
you need to download and install:
1) Full version Ri4m v5.0.1d
2) Update Ri4m v5.0.3
If you scroll down, you will find other tools for encoding in MKV or for PSP... plus a necessary codec pack for encoding in various formats.
You will definitely need AviUtil in its latest version available here:

That's it, if you have any other questions feel free to contact me directly.
There is currently m4ng (www.m4ng.fr) which is much better than ripp-it and just as free!
