Hello everyone,

I found, yesterday, somewhat by chance, how to store (you'll need to tell me where this is stored o_O) SMS messages on my PC. Not being able to find them, I did some research online and ended up locating a folder "C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Samsung\Samsung PC Studio 3" that contains a file with SMS messages dating back well before those I stored yesterday (over a year or 2 difference). I already had the same phone and connected it to my PC, so I think it might have been an automatic transfer or something like that...

This file is named "sms.msg" and holds immense sentimental value for me.
I saw that it was possible to read such a file using Outlook Express, but I don’t have that software.
My problem is that I can't find it through Internet Explorer on Windows Update.

I would be extremely grateful to anyone who can help me.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I have a Samsung and I'm using Samsung PC studio 3 to back up my texts. I followed your post and I found the file sms.msg. I have Thunderbird but I can't read my texts in Thunderbird... How did you do it? Where and which file did you paste into Thunderbird?

Thanks in advance for your help.
