Hi everyone,
I just want to know if there is a possibility to check the history of Media Player...
I don't know... if there is a folder that records all the videos or music that we've opened...
I know that with RealOne there is a folder, but for Media, I don't know...
Could you tell me if there is an existing folder and if so, where I can find it...
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,
there isn’t really any history on WmedPlay, but if the option is checked, you can review the tracks you made it play in:
Library :-)

Hello,
With WMP 10, there is indeed the history by going to "file". If you want to delete items, you go into the registry:
HK Current User/Software/Microsoft/MediaPlayer/Player/RecentFilelist.
In the right pane, the files you have opened are listed. You select and delete (keep the default one).
And don't forget to make a backup before making changes in the registry (as a precaution). -
Hi :-)
Glad to hear it :-)

But this is especially true when you don't want to erase everything. Otherwise, by doing as you said through options -> privacy -> clear history.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I can't follow you.
I'm not familiar with computers and I don't understand how to access the file...
What is "HK Current User/&"?
And how can I go to "options->"?
It must surely make some people smile, but I have no idea at all..

To complete my explanation: instead of doing <options>, <privacy>, <clear history>, I need to do <tools>, <options>, <privacy>, and uncheck the box <save file and URL in the Player>. It's very annoying, especially since English gives me some trouble (just so you know, I'm only thirteen).

Well, let's not talk about the registry anymore. If you don't know, it's probably for the best.
So, you launch WMPlayer, click on Tools (in the top bar), then click on Options.
In the window that appears, click on Privacy and at the very bottom, click on "clear history."
If you no longer want it to be saved, uncheck the "save history" box.
