Black liquid crystal display

Hello,
my liquid crystal display has gradually turned black; when placed in the sun, it turns white again and works, but at room temperature, it turns black again.
Does anyone have a tip?

    Hello,

    For my part, I solved the problem by putting the device in a waterproof bag and placing the whole thing in the fridge for half an hour...
