damaged liquid crystal display Solved/Closed

Question

I just dropped my digital camera and the LCD is damaged. Do you think it will be covered by warranty? If not, how much might it cost me? I don't know what to do, I hope you can be of fruitful help to me.

I'm not sure if it's the liquid crystals, but after hitting the corner of the coffee table, there are color cracks on half of the screen and even when it's off, there's a dark spot. However, it's definitely the inside because the outer screen is fine. We bought insurance, so we don't care about the bill, but can I keep the same one or will I need to change it? Thanks.
