Hello everyone!!

I don't know if I'm in the right forum, but I have a little (big...) bug with Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (for those who don't know, it's a game).

I bought it yesterday, and despite all my unimaginable efforts to find the bug, I am resigning myself to calling on the knowledge of all...

Game installation went perfectly
but when I double-click on the icon (CD inserted), the screen turns black (like many games do), but the problem is that it stays black, to the point that the screen goes into sleep mode thinking there is no signal...
The thing is, I hear sound, with the ads and everything... but no image :-s

I reinstalled DirectX 9 but without success...

help help!!

I respond myself for those who may have the same problem...

=> Set your resolution to 800x600, then launch the game, and in the game options, set "to run at ....x...." (your resolution)
because the developers set it to 800x600 by default, and personally, I’m not blind...

It gives me a black screen but only in the parks. I really don’t understand anything. The game starts fine, I choose the type of park I want to build, and when it loads, the screen is black. I can only see the icons on the left to change the park, but I can’t play with the black screen...
