Hello,
for some time, I have been encountering error messages when trying to access a website:
1st - when I am on a site and it prompts me to install the new version of ADOBE PLAYER, I proceed to do so and I also accept ACTIVE-X, but nothing happens. It keeps telling me that I need to install the new version, whereas I am using ADOBE ACROBAT, ADOBE READER 9, and ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 10. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them, but nothing works. WHY ????
I have checked my antivirus, my spybot, and malwarebytes. I did a complete cleanup with C CLEANER, and everything is clean. I even ran a check with "hardware diagnostics" on Windows and it found nothing. Yet, I tried to create a backup, and I cannot do it; the system refuses the CD that I insert, and after formatting, the CD formatting does not finish, and finally, I get the error message 0x800700AA.
How can I find this error and remove it? I have important documents, and I do not want to lose them. I would especially like to avoid putting them on CDs because it will never end.
Thank you for the information.
I am not an expert in computers, so please be clear.

Hello
if I'm not mistaken, Adobe Player is not related to Adobe Reader, it's a multimedia player,
if it doesn't work, it's because Adobe Air is not installed on the computer > https://get.adobe.com/air/?loc=en
This program is necessary to run certain Adobe applications
Once this little program is installed, along with the Adobe player, it should work.

Thank you for responding. I installed ADOBE AIR but nothing has changed; I am still convinced that the error I mentioned in my message is blocking part of the functionality. Before this error appeared, everything was working properly, and now for any yes or no, I have to accept Adobe Player to open the page, and on others, I can't even validate it; the system refuses me. Nevertheless, I thank you for trying to help me.
I am open to other suggestions.
