Hello, I have a Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder but for Windows and I don't have a PC, I have a Mac OS X.
What should I do? I know there's Pinnacle Video Capture for Mac but I don't plan to buy it.
Is there a solution? Thanks in advance. I'm on Mac OS X Leopard, MacBook late 2007, 1 GB of RAM, and Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

Hi
sorry to be pessimistic but I think you got swindled...
because Dazzle for Mac has this: https://www.pinnaclesys.com/fr/products/studio/
or maybe there’s a workaround, you plug in your Dazzle and install the BTV Pro program, maybe it’ll see a video signal and can import it in DV
on an English forum I saw this: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/dazzle-dvd-recorder-and-macam.542159/
install the Macam driver to see if your Dazzle can be recognized as a webcam and then you can also do an import
but all of this is theoretical...
or the final solution would be to install Windows on your Mac with Bootcamp -
Yes, as you said, I will try Macam, but I have Windows on Mac, and the microphone is not recognized.

Hello,
Does anyone know of an equivalent to the Dazzle DVDRecorderHD for Mac?
Thank you
Hello,
if the goal is to digitize video tapes, there is Easy VHS from Roxio:
https://www.roxio.com/fr/products/easy-vhs-to-dvd/mac/
I use it for my old VHS tapes.
Best regards.
