Hello,
I have a laptop and I would like to create a network bridge between a local network and an internet network.
I go to the "network connections" folder, select the 2 network icons --> right-click --> bridge connection. But an error message appears: "To create a network bridge, you must select at least two local or high-speed Internet connections that are not being used for Internet connection sharing."
I would like to know if it is possible to create a bridge connection, and if so, how? It would really be nice to help me, and it's very important.
Thank you in advance.

You must have shared your internet connection from your PC before.
So to bridge the connection, you just need to disable the sharing first! (Right-click, properties, sharing tab and uncheck sharing, then confirm)
And there you go, you should be able to create the network bridge afterwards.

You're welcome!
Thank you very much for this response which helped me a lot,
here is now my problem in more detail:
I have the Xbox 360 and I would like to be able to play with Xbox live, the problem is that I don't have enough money to buy the adapter and I have an Ethernet cable that is really too short to go from my room to the router...
I know it's possible to connect the Ethernet cable to my Xbox and then to a laptop, then create a bridge connection... The only problem is that my Xbox asks me for information, which is logical, but in the bridge connection information it only shows the IP, the Subnet Mask (the other fields remain empty) but I must necessarily enter the default gateway address and the DNS.
I hope I have made myself understood, looking forward to a response,
Thanks in advance.
