Hello,
I downloaded the free Ciel Auto-entrepreneur software for Mac and PC.
The software is pretty good, just what I need, but I'm not satisfied with the prints:
I find the logo is way too small.
Is there any way to modify the layout for printing quotes and invoices?

Hello everyone!
As for Ciel Auto Entrepreneur, I personally use it on Mac, but it shouldn't be too different on PC...
To answer the initial question, to change or customize your business documents (invoices and quotes) I go to File > Options > File Printing. In this new window, I click on Configurable Reports, then on Customer Documents.
You will then see on the right panel the "Auto-Entrepreneur Receipt" which is the default file. You just need to double-click on it to customize it as you wish.
Regarding the mention "Prices shown in euros," it is true that it doesn't appear anywhere; I simply added a line of text that therefore prints on all documents (invoices and quotes).
As for importing your company's logo, it must be in .pct format (easily convertible with a photo software, such as Photoshop) to be taken into account by Ciel Auto-Entrepreneur.

I believe that since Ciel offers it for free, they have really limited the options.

Compared to the professional versions of Ciel, it's definitely cheaper, but can someone inform me about the differences?

The cloud for self-employed individuals does not allow for a satisfactory logo on quotes.
I therefore created a letterhead with my logo at the top left, on which I print my quotes and invoices.

I also installed Ciel Auto Entrepreneur to see how it works and I had some fun with it. Today I'm launching as an auto entrepreneur, but the problem is that I can't create another company in Ciel. I uninstalled it, but the business I created for the example keeps coming back. I don't know how to delete it.
Does anyone have the solution???

Just like you, there must be a way to set the currency to euros; otherwise, the auto-entrepreneur status wouldn't be of any use, right? If anyone has found the solution, don't hesitate to share it with us; it could make many people happy. In the meantime, good luck to all the new "business owners."
To change the size of the logo, simply go to Folder/company settings/Logos
there is a small and large logo and you can adjust the size using the scale bar at the bottom of the image.

In Ciel Auto Entrepreneur Easy 1.4, I don't see "Logos" under File/Company Settings/
The only way for me to reach the panel to change the logo is "Settings" then "Company Data" and there I have the "Logos" tab, but again it's impossible to import, it seems like for it, JPeg and Bmp aren't images... if anyone has an idea, thank you!!!

I called Ciel today regarding the currency issue.
The person I spoke to on the phone told me that the currency is not mandatory. (That's why it's not on the invoices and quotes).

Seriously though, the logo works for me, but for the footer, individual business with the SIRET, I would like to do it differently and I can't seem to do that...
And what I'm noticing while reading you is that the euro isn't specified...
Yet I've always worked with Ciel in high school, so I'm quite familiar with it and used to it; it would annoy me to have to change or pay. If they offer a simplified and free version, it would be great to still manage a minimum; otherwise, it serves no purpose...

To have your logo on the invoice or other document, follow this path:
on the top toolbar labeled "folder, edit, list, etc..." click on "folder", then in the dropdown menu that appears, scroll down to "Settings", then move your mouse to the right over "Company" and click
a window opens with "Company Settings" written at the top
below there are 5 tabs, click on the logo tab (far right)
then click on the small green arrow at the top left of the box just below "small logo"
in the dropdown menu that appears then, scroll down to "import an image" and click
then you only have to choose the jpeg file or another format you want, click ok and normally the logo should appear in the small logo window
close everything by clicking ok and try it on an invoice..., normally it's all good

I followed your advice, but when printing and previewing my invoice, our company logo still doesn't appear.
When I called Ciel, I was redirected elsewhere because I had to purchase their support.
Do you have any idea on how to proceed? I imported an image by scanning it.

I found one that seems very interesting, there's a classic version, one for manicure professionals, and another for IT specialists. Sure, it costs 45 euros to purchase, but the updates and support are for life.... ae-gestion
Personally, I found my happiness; I prefer to pay 45 euros knowing that I can modify what I want. Plus, there's a trial version, so you can always try it before committing.
Let me know what you think. Personally, I already contacted support, and I was very surprised by the kindness of the person on the other end. I also checked on info greffe, and it has been registered since January 2007.

You may have noticed that the time before launching the software (continue without a license) increases over time; I'm at 130 seconds now... it's really the kind of little thing I find pathetic. On this, zero points, either you make a free version or you don’t make one at all!!! I understand that many options are not active, but come on, this is just to be annoying. What's the next step? Writing in pink? Randomly changing the name of the company? Or even better, more prices :)

I need to add 2 things to my invoices and I'm having trouble doing it!
1) In the company title, my email address and my website are missing even though I have indicated them in folder/Settings/company
2) I need to add the simple approval number obtained from the prefecture.

I called Ciel to get information about this bug, and they told me it wasn't a bug but since I didn't have support, they couldn't give me an answer.
Has anyone had these issues before? What should I do? Also, regarding the logo, I can't enlarge it and I don't know where to put lines of text that appear on each quote without having to type them every time.
