Il faut juste savoir si la carte mère le supporte et surtout ne pas acheter un disque dur SATA si le PC n'a que des connecteurs IDE (Ce qui est très probablement le cas).
Tu peux avoir ces renseignements sur le CD ou la notice de la carte mère.

Là est le problème : je ne trouve plus la notice de ma carte mère et je ne sais pas de quel CD tu parles.

Il va falloir aller sur le site du constructeur et télécharger la notice.

J'ai bien essayé mais je ne l'ai pas trouvée, le PC date de 1999!

Ouvre ton PC et inscrit ici le nom de la carte mère.
En général, c'est écrit en grand.

System Board V66XA
The V66XA is an all-in-one high-performance system board that utilizes the new Intel Pentium II
processor with MMX (MultiMedia eXtensions) technology. The Pentium II comes in a card design
with 256- or 512-KB second-level cache already integrated. The MMX feature enables the system

Bonsoir,
Juste pour dire que finalement j'ai acheté mon DD externe de 120 Go. Puisqu'il n'y avait aucune précision, ma carte mère ne posait pas de restriction de taille, j'ai donc pu installer le DD de 120 Go de mes rêves (avec de l'aide bien sûr) et que tout va bien!
