Ed Hardy Counterfeit

Hello,

I ordered this T-shirt from the brand "ed hardy" on this site:
http://www.clyben.com/ed-hardy-mens-tees-p-1196.html

Upon receiving it today, I quickly realized that it was a counterfeit (the design is not yellow but bright orange and very "fake" and is not centered or the same size as in the photo) and the package comes from China, which I did not see mentioned on the site.

Do you think I can alert the authorities or request compensation?

Thank you for your help.

Hello, asking for compensation? At best, you’ll be the one sued for purchasing counterfeit goods! Let it go and forget about your purchase!!!!

Yes, but I wasn't aware; I wouldn't have pressed charges if I had known it was counterfeit!
I doubt it will blow back on me since I was the one who got taken in this situation; I already warned them that counterfeit products are circulating, the last thing I need is for it to come back on me!
It's like on eBay, if you buy a branded product and receive a counterfeit, you're going to complain, right? And it's probably not going to fall on you

I don't want to be taken for a fool; sorry.

Hello,

I just read your message and indeed you didn't intentionally buy a counterfeit. But I have a question for you: how much did your purchase cost? Often the price is a good way to tell if it's real or not. And yes, Christian Audigier/Ed Hardy remains a very original brand, but also quite expensive!
One piece of advice, if you want to try again and enrich your wardrobe with a REAL Ed Hardy, check out the website www.fashion-arkad.fr. Fast delivery, you can contact them by phone, and I guarantee, having tested it, that the goods are real.
That's it
Have a great day everyone

Hello EMi57,

a serious site you say???

I am a big fan of the Ed HARDY and Christian Audigier brands and I closely follow the news of these brands, and honestly, some people are really shameless because the product photos on this site are not theirs!!!!

They mostly come from the ed hardy site or from flavorpark.com.

One example among many:
http://www.fashion-arkad.fr/1235-t-shirt-ed-hardy-.html
Origin of the photo:
https://www.flavorpark.com/

And I have found plenty like this!!! Honestly, it’s the fake Chinese sites that do this kind of thing!!!
Plus, the site is so-so.... Especially with the sales going on right now, it's less on flavorpark.com!!

Before giving advice on a forum, you need to check your sources!

I don’t really understand your response.
The discussion on the forum doesn't concern the origin of the photos, nor the quality of the website (you don’t like it, that’s your opinion, it’s subjective and frankly, we don't care, it doesn’t really add anything to the discussion!!!). Here, it’s about Ed Hardy counterfeiting. And indeed, before giving information, I check my sources.... I bought 2 t-shirts and a cap during 3 different purchases and I had no issues regarding the authenticity of the ordered items. Honestly, I don’t care where the photos come from as long as what I receive matches what I ordered... and that’s really the point of this forum, right?

Have a good day.

Are you working for the shop or what??? It's okay... No need to get worked up like that
a forum is here to give opinions and advice and I rely on things like this to know if a site sells genuine or fake products (the photos, the terms and conditions, the support email addresses...).
If you read my previous posts, you can see the advice I've given to verify the authenticity of a site.
NOW maybe you bought from them but taking photos of a brand or from another site is not legal and not serious, it's like FootLocker taking the visuals from Intersport or Courir, it's not serious! That's just my opinion and a forum is for sharing opinions
So yes, my opinion is that the site is terrible there you go!!! Graphically and qualitatively, terrible, it’s like an intern made the site!!!!
Imagine Karmaloop taking product visuals from djpremium or emoda!! That's nonsense
there are countless streetwear sites and this one is terrible!
There's even urbanlocker that sells Ed Hardy too and it's already 10 times better!
So for once there's a French site like Flavorpark that does great things, if not just the quality of the site, I find it very misplaced to copy! The fact of copying things already shows that we are less good

even fake sites are better made!!

WELL SEND VIZZ.......THESE DISCUSSIONS ARE MADE FROM SCRATCH BY ...(IT DOESN'T SELL TOO WELL...LOL..LMAO??!!
AND OF COURSE, FOOLS TO FALL INTO THEIR TRAPS
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF THE DISCUSSION, WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?
IF WE WANT A TSHIRT, A PAIR OF UNDERWEAR, OR A DOG THESE DAYS, WE'LL BUY IT WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE BOUGHT AND IN PERSON, THAT'S ALL!!
AFTERWARDS, FOR THE CHEAPSKATES WHO WANT TO SAVE DREAMING OF A PRODUCT FOR 10 BUCKS AND EXPECTING TO GET THE REAL DEAL, YOU'RE TOO STUPID AND I PITY YOUR MOTHERS AND FATHERS AND EVEN YOUR ANCESTORS.
AND FOR THOSE WHO KNOW, IT DOESN'T HURT ANYONE AS FAR AS I KNOW TO WEAR OR HAVE A COUNTERFEITED PRODUCT, AS LONG AS WE'RE HAPPY OR CONTENT WITHOUT IT AFFECTING OUR MENTAL HEALTH OR OTHERWISE...OH YES, THE OWNER OF THE PRODUCT, HE'S UNHAPPY...WHAT A SHAME..LOL
HERE TOO, I SEE NO DISADVANTAGE IN ONE PERSON BEING SLIGHTLY LIGHTENED BY A FEW DOLLARS TO PLEASE MILLIONS, WHO BY THE WAY, FEEL VERY PAINED BY 100 DOLLARS FOR A TSHIRT OR 1000 DOLLARS FOR A BAG
LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE!!
DEATH TO THE KING!!

Hello, I too have been a victim of counterfeit Ed Hardy t-shirts. It was not mentioned on the site that it came from China. The design is crude and a pale copy of the original, and I paid 49 euros for it on the site 21modeshop.com!
I don't know what to do, perhaps alert the fraud department, because we are not complicit but victims, and I will never wear this t-shirt!

I agree with you, we are not accomplices, I went on the site where I ordered and it has been deleted so they must have had complaints...
I advise you to report it, you have nothing to lose, you weren't aware and well, €40 still hurts when you see the stuff they send you in the end.

At least now I know what to expect, I won't buy from a foreign site that I don't know anymore, in fact, even French sites can be shady like sportchaussure or things like that.
Nothing beats ventes-privées, it's half price and you're sure it's real.

Your stories about clothing counterfeiting bought online interest me. I am preparing a small report on counterfeiting and I am looking for testimonies from people in Paris.
Thank you for writing to me if you are interested.

Hello everyone,

for those who have had misadventures with counterfeit Ed Hardy products, the only thing I can say is I'm sorry for you first and foremost. But, next time, try to avoid looking for the cheapest possible option because, generally speaking, it will be fake.
- When you search for Ed Hardy on Google, take the site http://www.edhardyshop.com, it's the official site, the prices are obviously what we know, but do the conversion from $ to € and you'll see that you're still saving even with the shipping costs, which I admit are a bit scary, but after conversion, you will be less shocked. However, don’t be too eager to receive it because it’s quite long in “general”.
- For those who don’t like to wait, it's true that the site http://wwwflavorpark.com is a very good site for Ed Hardy & Christian Audigier products, those are the official prices, and it's true that when signing up for the newsletter, they offer us a 15% discount on all products we buy from them. This allows you “not to pay for shipping fees.” I myself just made a purchase there just yesterday and should receive it today or tomorrow via UPS. (Having talked to them, I can certify that they are very reliable and will answer all your questions.) Moreover, Christian Audigier “himself” responded to an interview for this site that you can view. This undeniably inspires confidence. One small downside, when you see something you like, don’t wait, because they don’t have a huge stock.
- Otherwise, you have the site http://www.urbanlocker.com, which sells Ed Hardy (a reliable site) with a bit more choice than flavorpark, but they do not carry the Christian Audigier brand.
- And finally, for those living in the Paris region or near Marseille, you have the official Ed Hardy stores. So don’t stress and go to the store, it's more fun and gives you a nice outing, there’s more choice, and you can try on the clothes.
Ps: on the Champs Elysées, there is a store that sells Ed Hardy & Christian Audigier in the gallery where the McDonald's is, at least 1. (Shocked by the “huge” stock quality, but the prices are tough, given the Saudi clientele that goes there.)

I hope all of this will be useful to you, all you have to do is choose which way you prefer to get genuine Ed Hardy.

Hello,

I was online looking for new Ed Hardy t-shirts and I stumbled upon your message.
I must admit I've been wondering quite a bit since then whether the 3 t-shirts plus the cap I bought last year are real or fakes. Plus, yesterday I ordered two new t-shirts on iOffer and I was really surprised by the quantity and the price; I paid €60 for 2. I imagine they are fakes!!! Honestly, if some people don't care about having copies, I do. How can you tell a real Ed Hardy from a fake, do you have a solution besides the price and the tags on the collar???

Thank you for your response.

Hello everyone,

I completely agree with tig3r; after searching for the cheapest options, you end up with counterfeit products, and I’m sorry for those who got tricked!

As for me, I discovered the website www.flavorpark.com about 10 months ago, and honestly, if you’re looking for Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier (or other brands like True Religion, Crooks & Castles...), I highly recommend it! Great customer service! Fast delivery times! And most importantly, it’s the real deal! I’ve bought several t-shirts, hoodies, jeans and I don’t regret it at all, they’re super stylish!!!

So for your next purchases, you know where to go!!!

Hello,
indeed many Chinese sites sell fake Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier!!!
I bought my t-shirt from flavorpark.com, which is a very nice French site, and I'm very happy. I received my order in 24 hours. Nothing to say about the product and the service.

Let's tell Christian....
It's simple, type ED Hardy Los Angeles
You immediately get the email....
But maybe he already knows?

Yes, they are aware at Audigier, I reported my misadventure to them and they replied that they were sorry for me and that they would check this site (21modeshop.com). Now, will they take the time to do it?
The address to report sites selling counterfeit goods: Christian Audigier SARL 8650 Hayden Place
90232 CULVER CITY (CA) UNITED STATES
If everyone complains, we might be able to make things happen, but it's up to Mr. Audigier to take action, it's a loss of revenue for the brand!

YES, maybe, but in what context is the report? For a TV station? ...

Yes, it's for France Télévisions and it's for the September rentrée. Why, what is your story?

Sure, yes indeed for the "about us" address, not very professional lol!
Alright for the link you provided, indeed the prices are not the same, but well it's the price for Ed Hardy...
Thank you!

I did a little experiment a while back: I bought a counterfeit Ed Hardy t-shirt online and then went to a real Ed Hardy store to buy another one, the same t-shirt.

I went to exchange it the same day (where I bought the real one), explaining that it was for a gift and that the size didn't fit. So I gave her the fake one, she inspected it from all sides and gave me the same one in a different size!!

So there you go, a fake that passes for a real one for 20 euros, bought on a (good) site by the way, lol....

and stop playing the flute!!!
among the x number of counterfeit items sold online, you just happened to stumble upon the same t-shirt that is sold in stores
"and I went to a real Ed Hardy store to buy another one" there's only one in France!!!
even I, who am not an expert, can tell the difference! the difference between a counterfeit and a real one is obvious.
and you forgot to start your story with "once upon a time ..."

there's not just one store in France
I've already done 4: Lille, St. Tropez, Ste. Maxime, and Paris...

Hello,
Does anyone know the website brandsss.com in the USA that sells Ed Hardy and Ch Audigier and other brands like True Religion? I live in the Pacific and stores here hardly sell this brand or have excessively high prices. Thank you for letting me know if it's counterfeit because the prices are very attractive.
See you soon.

HI, personally this site doesn't really inspire me with confidence, there's French mixed with English and German (it's not very serious!!) and when it's in French it's a rather approximate French that doesn't mean much!
To see if a site is real or not, I check the buttons for terms, contact us.... at the bottom of the page and it gives a lot of confidence!!
I recommend the site flavorpark.com which is in French and English, they also have True Religion on top of that but I don't know if they deliver to the Pacific, contact them it's simple there’s a form and from experience they'll reply quickly!

Hello, I would like to know if the site: http://www.edhardygift.com/ is a counterfeit site.
Thank you for your answers :)

As mentioned in my previous post, check the links at the bottom, and without even clicking on a link, I already see a spelling mistake with "Aboutt us" with 2 t's in About!!!! So without going further, I'm not even commenting on it, plus this kind of site has passed through China, it's counterfeiting!! You won't receive anything or at best you'll get clothes of poor quality! It's better to look for sites in France (flavorpark.com...)

Hello everyone, a few months ago we ordered brand-name products that weren't expensive (the same prices as in private sales) and our package was seized by customs. We had already received a package and honestly, the product quality was very good, we didn't suspect it was counterfeit so we reordered. When we went to customs, we were given a lecture, they told us that products like those at such prices were impossible and blah blah blah. We were just victims of the internet and as a result, we had to pay a fine of €200, we managed to get a refund for the order through PayPal. Filing a complaint is useless; they are factories in China and of course, they can't shut them all down, so basically, we are being scammed, the French state pockets the money and China continues to sell. Long live the world!!!

Everyone complains about counterfeit goods, if you were less stupid you'd know that an Ed Hardy or Audigier t-shirt for 30 or 40 euros is not real!!! It's like buying a Louis Vuitton bag for 50 euros, use your brains!!!
And to respond to some people who claim that counterfeits are very easily recognizable, it's because you know nothing
Nowadays, the Chinese make things that even professionals have a hard time distinguishing the real from the fake.

Hello everyone,

I ordered this T-Shirt from this site: http://www.edhardylove.com/romantic-devil-platinum-tee-p-148.html

I suspected a scam when I received the tracking information from Shanghai while the company is supposed to be in England. Anyway, the package arrives and I compare it without much difficulty to the official site. The difference is huge.
Wrong color
The collar has no pattern
The little stones are poorly glued
Faded colors
Designs that do not match the original
Anyway, what do you think of this site (which provides a link to replicas of Breitling!!) ?

Honestly, it's the first time I've been tricked and it's making me cautious about shopping from abroad.

Thank you in advance for your opinions.
