Hello everyone,
I regularly use email through my Yahoo account. Several times while I was writing, I accidentally hit some key on the keyboard or made an incorrect manipulation, causing my email to disappear. Gone. I have to do everything all over again! The height of frustration. In Word, we have the security feature under File Save to regularly save what we write. In case of a wrong manipulation, we can also use the "undo" arrow in the toolbar. But here? Can you tell me if there is a way to either save what we write in a Yahoo email or at least if we can recover what disappears accidentally? If so, how?
(Sometimes I draft my email in a Word document and then copy-paste it into the email to be sent. But these are time-consuming manipulations).
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
I don't know about Yahoo Mail, but on some platforms, there's a small floppy disk icon (like in Word) that allows you to save your email as a "Draft," so you can retrieve it in case of accidental manipulation.
If that doesn't exist on Yahoo, I think you can continue doing what you're doing: write in Word and then copy-paste it into your email; it doesn't take too much extra time.
Otherwise, I think you're hitting the "backspace" key, and your mouse cursor is not positioned in the email frame, which takes you back to the previous page, causing you to lose your email...
Best regards,
Sandrine

Thank you for the information regarding the backspace key and the incorrect cursor positioning causing a return to the previous page. I will be careful about that from now on.
