Hello,

I would like to know please how to remove the extension from a file, for example:

I have Microsoft Excel files in my documents, I have changed the file name but I can't remove "Microsoft Excel Worksheet"

    You can put whatever you want before, but the last three letters after the dot cannot be removed, for example, if you have xls as the extension and you remove it, your Excel software will no longer be able to read the file, in fact, for example, you just have to put three other letters in its place, try reading it with Excel, you won't be able to, it's a bit like its name at baptism, it belongs to the Excel family.
