Hello,
I’m going to explain my problem.
I have a Brother DCP-153 printer that works very well under Ubuntu 8.10 Linux
Having photos to preserve, I wanted to print some of them but one issue arises:
the 10x15 photo paper is well aligned in the tray thanks to the sliding bars, up to this point no problem,
Then, I correctly select the 10x15 paper size, the photo is resized, in my view everything seems fine for printing.
I start the print, but the printer indeed begins printing after leaving half of the sheet “blank”, in other words, I think a parameter is mis configured regarding margins.
I tried The Gimp, F-spot, gThumb, ... nothing helps the problem remains.
I specify that when printing a document on A4 paper everything is fine.
I would like to know which program to use for this kind of print and also whether there might be hidden options that could be at the origin of this problem (sorry I repeat this word)
Thank you to you
Configuration: Linux Firefox 3.0.6

    Thanks for the quick reply!
I found a solution that worked, I simply used the program "OpenOffice Draw" which allowed me to print my photo the way I wanted.
Linux is full of mysteries, but we always manage to solve its problems.
Thanks again and see you soon.
    Nico

    Good evening
I don’t know this printer model, but try to check in your printer settings if there’s one related to the position of the photo paper in the feed settings
    Something like that https://www.cjoint.com/?ddtVDhwepj
    See you later
