Hello everyone,
I have a library that is starting to look like a bookstore because I have so many books.
I would like to sell them as they are all in impeccable condition and are all new.
I sold some to Gilbert Jeune, but out of about fifteen books, they only took back 6, which is too few.
I have listed some for sale on Amazon and eBay, but it's impossible to sell them.
Is there not a bookstore in Paris or the Paris region that buys books on the same principle as Gilbert Jeune?
Thank you.

To complement FH's response, there is a website that is currently gaining traction, which is www.getboox.com.
It is a free online marketplace specializing in student books.
The advantage is that there are no commissions to pay.

Last week I sold 4 books to Gibert Jeune for 33 euros, which is more than Easy Cash, who offered me 4 euros per book. Today I sold 2 books for 16 euros. I should mention that these are university textbooks (psychology, management), so they are more in demand in a student neighborhood.
I don't know what city you're in, but if you're near a big city, GO STRAIGHT TO EASYCASH!!! This store takes ALL books in ALL GENRES quite expensively! For example, Harry Potter 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, for €75 for all of them!
I am sharing my little experience regarding the resale of books. During my first year of law, I bought books worth 93 euros. I then decided to sell them to Gilbert Jeunes when I moved on to my second year. I sold my civil law code that I had bought for 35 euros, plus a constitutional law book for 30 euros, another one for 18 and 20 euros, and then there was one left, but they didn’t take it back for about 8 euros.
Out of the 93 euros I spent, Gilbert Jeunes bought back all these books for just 21.55 euros!!!!!!!!!! This amount doesn't even equal one of the most important books I bought for my year of law.
For your information, if you want to sell your books to Gilbert Jeunes, it will be for a pittance!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S.: I haven’t mentioned the reception there; it's not a generalization for those working at Gilbert Jeunes. There were people who were welcoming, but I encountered someone who didn’t say hello, shouted "next person," didn’t even explain the procedure—thankfully, I had informed myself beforehand—and no goodbye, just have a nice day, very unfriendly. Be aware that you might or might not come across this kind of person.

A nice tip, hoping you haven't thought of it,

I am well acquainted with Priceminister and eBay, two sites where you can sell your books. I think that in your case, Priceminister is more interesting. You don't have to pay to list your ads. eBay is interesting if you have books that are out of print and rare. You should consider grouping your sales. Think carefully about your starting price if you are selling them at auction on eBay. If it's too high, you risk not selling anything. Pat
Yes, I tried Boulinier: Four pocket books for 20 cents. At Gibert, it's not Eldorado but it's better. If I went to Boulinier, it's because Gibert didn't want my four books. The advantage at Boulinier is that you don't have to wait long. It all depends on what you are looking for (getting rid of your books or filling your cash...).
