Hello. I represent the Cash Express brand. I apologize for intervening a bit late in the thread.
The buyback price for each DVD is based on our appraisal. Each title is evaluated according to its success, release date, etc. The cheapest DVDs, those sold in stores for €1, are indeed bought back for 20 cents. The average buyback price is around €1. Recent DVDs of good titles can be bought back for €2 to €4, and box sets (collector’s or TV series) can be bought back for €5 to €20 for new releases.

Good evening  They take them back for a quarter of the price to resell them for more than three quarters of the price, like everywhere else. They are there to make money, not to help us make some.
