Hello,

Do you know how to change the subtitle language in Saints Row 2?

Ever since I installed the optimization patch, the game is in English!

    I have the 1 on Xbox 360, if it works the same way, it's in settings, languages, subtitles: French...

    Yes, I found the solution: just start Steam and go to its settings, then go to the interface and select French as the language.

    Then restart Steam (after accepting) and your game will be in French!! :D

    HERE IS THE SOLUTION, it was so simple

    but given the number of people who have this problem: SPREAD THE WORD !!!!! :D

      it's the software that allows you to play it (if you bought it of course...)

      if you have installed the crack skidrow go to the game directory double click on the SKIDROW file then
      change "english" to "french" save it in another folder then copy and paste it into the game directory and you have the subtitles in french!!!

    No, there is no option to change the language via the game menu.....

    Thanks anyway, does anyone have an idea??

    Ah sorry, I don't see... Is there maybe a section in the menu > options regarding the website about the game and help?

    I'm annoyed to buy this game for an update issue; has anyone found the patch + crack version in French??

    It's since I applied the crack + updates, and I can't find it in French!!

    I would have liked to avoid reinstalling it, and the patch brings significant optimizations,

    I'm at work and I thought I could modify the language files in the game's directory.

    Hello,

    No, you didn't read it correctly; at the beginning of the installation, the game was in French!! But I had optimization issues.

    After a patch was released, I installed it, and since then the game has been in English!!!

    So does anyone have an idea on how to put the subtitles back in French??

    Same goes for me. We should test renaming the French subtitle files to English, and then replace the original English files with the renamed French ones. Let's see.

    So has anyone found out because I just got it and there’s nothing to do, since the automatic update the game is all in English, I don’t know how to switch it to French?

    I just bought Saints Row 2 in the HITS COLLECTION and it says on the box that the game is in French, but when I play it is in English (even though I selected French during installation). Can someone give me a patch or tell me how to change the language please?

      Hi,
      I have the same problem, so if you found a solution, I'm interested :)
      Otherwise, take a look at the readme file, but even after doing what they say, it's still in French for me :(

    Il suffit de faire un clic droit sur Sr3 dans la bibliothèque, de sélectionner Propriétés, puis Langue, et tu choisis français =)
