Hello,
OVERVIEW: annotation no longer works
Mac OS X 10.5.6
Preview 4.1
Recently, I was using Preview to annotate my photos
now it no longer works: the annotate menu and the selection menu do not drop down anymore!
I can therefore create an oval but cannot add text
thank you
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 525.27.1

Hello,

I have also experienced the problem from the menu bar. I managed to work around it by customizing the toolbar. I added the annotation tool to the toolbar, and from there it works.

I also found that it's necessary to hold down the mouse button (pressed) to make the desired selection.
