Hello everyone.
I downloaded FreeRapid and when I start the links I get a lovely error message:
"ERROR - Issue with a connection to the service. Unable to find the page content"
I checked the plugins which also do not download when I update them.
I'm reaching out for your help hoping that someone who has had this issue before can assist me.
Thank you.
Sultan
Ps: Happy holidays to everyone
Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 533.18.5

Good evening, have you installed "Java," the essential software for the proper functioning of FreeRapid?
Sincerely. -
solution to delete a folder and restart the software it should work again
the folder to delete is
c:/users/(you)/appdata/roaming/vitysoft/frd
delete the entire frd folder and everything should go back to normal -
The messages are dated, but since I had this problem and struggled with it, I think some people might be in the same boat as I was and will be happy to find answers on this forum, not just questions.
I've been using this program for a few months without any issues, and then, all of a sudden, it stopped working. Every time I tried to download something, it showed me the infamous "ERROR - Problem with a connection to the service. Unable to find the content of the page." I let the problem linger until I really got fed up. I did several things, but I don't know what actually fixed the issue. So, I advise people who have this problem to try everything haha.
- I started by deleting everything and downloading it again (in its new version 0.86u1).
- Then I downloaded the plugins (Help > Check for new plugins), but it still didn't work.
- Next, I downloaded the new version of JAVA and re-checked the plugins.
- At that point, it seemed to be working, but actually, it wasn't; now it was showing me "Error starting download"...
- I finally restarted my computer and it was good.
I did a lot of random stuff, but something among my manipulations made it work, so I'm pretty happy hehe. -
Hi, I think that originally the software is paid or something like that, and they copied the folder of the software (in Program Files) and made it available to us. At least, that's what's happening for me, a folder with all the files of the software, but no installation for FreeRapid, so the plugins don't install in the browser if there's no installation. So the software doesn't detect it :/
There must be a way to install this damn software ... Otherwise, there's a copy of this software, with a big ad box on the interface, but it's not a big deal. It's called Crazyloader. But it's a bit glitchy, I think the unbinder doesn't work anymore ... :/
Good luck guys, and long live downloading! ;) -
If someone has the solution, it would be nice to share it with us! :)

Hi!
I just downloaded FreeRapid and I'm having the exact same problem as you. Did you find a solution?
