Phone number format issue

Hello,
I am currently filling out a registration form for continuing my studies, but the problem is that when I submit it, there is an issue with the phone number. The following message appears: "The phone format is incorrect: it must only consist of digits."
Originally, I wrote my phone number like this 0262 XX XX XX (I am from Reunion Island, area code +262), I modified it to this format + 262 262 XX XX XX (for my landline) and + 262 692 XX XX XX (for my mobile)
but it still doesn't work =( I keep getting the same message!! And this registration is very important for me...
I personally don’t know how to write a number with letters^^ and I don't see where it gets stuck
If anyone has a solution, I would be eternally grateful
