DVD player won't open anymore

Hello,
my Toshiba DVD player refuses to open. There is no problem reading the DVD, but when I press the open button, my player refuses to open and gets stuck. Please help me resolve this issue.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

You can open it by inserting a straightened paperclip into the small hole located under the drawer; sometimes you have to insist a little, but it's effective.

If you left a CD inside, take a regular paperclip and you will find a tiny little hole on the front of your player. Insert the end of the paperclip and by pressing lightly, you will be able to open your player. Now, depending on the age, this happens often.

I'm sorry, there is no hole on the front, I tried under the drawer, it doesn't work. My device is over 6 years old. Cécile
