Hello,
Since I started an installation from my DVD drive (a setup.exe installation for my printer that I had already done on this same computer without any problem...), it has become impossible to read CDs or DVDs. I get the message "Insert a disc" as soon as I launch my drive from Explorer, and it spins in vain when I insert it and stops without anything happening.
I tried disabling/uninstalling my device, I reinstalled Windows, I checked for updates, I tried Microsoft FIX IT software but nothing works.
Thank you for your help.

Seen on Microsoft’s site:
Proceed as follows to specify the action that should run when you insert different types of media into the computer.
To open AutoPlay, click the Start button image, then Control Panel. In the search box, type autoplay, then click AutoPlay.
Under Media, look for the type of media for which you want to change the AutoPlay setting.
Click the action that should be performed by AutoPlay when you insert the corresponding type of media into the computer.
Click Save.
it worked for me by changing the settings for removable drives and audio CD, I set it to Ask me every time.
