How to remove the stories bar on Facebook.

Hello,
On my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, a stories bar has appeared for the past 4 days that I find completely pointless and that takes up space.
Does anyone know how to remove or disable it?

    With the AdBlock extension on Chrome, it’s possible.

    Right-click on the white frame > AdBlock > Block this ad > Slide the slider to the right

    You should normally get:
