Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased 1 sofa + 1 armchair from the BUT store in Lons le Saunier (Jura). Before buying it, I discussed the matter with a sales representative. I asked him where the sofa was made, and not knowing, he went to find out and came back telling me that part of it was made in Poland and the other part in France. The deal was made, and since the armchair was out of stock, I decided to rent the BUT truck and pick it up upon the arrival of the armchair. The day arrived, and the whole set (sofa + armchair) was already in the truck (great). We unloaded it, and on the plastic covering the sofa and armchair, there was a label saying MADE IN CHINA. My wife called BUT, and they replied that "only the plastic comes from China." We let the matter go, but a few days later, I vacuumed UNDER the sofa and noticed another label that said MADE IN CHINA. I decided to go there in person and ask for explanations. I won't detail the whole ordeal with the salespeople, but I left without answers and, above all, feeling betrayed. I do not intend to leave it at that, but what should I do about it? Furthermore, I have not yet paid for the whole set.
Sincere regards.

Hello.

This question is rather off-topic in this section of the site.
Please reformulate it on http://droit-finances.commentcamarche.net/forum/ where it can be addressed in a more targeted and relevant way.

Thank you.

See you later.

Hello,

the fact that it is manufactured in China or Papua New Guinea cannot be considered a defect or hidden flaw,
now that you may have received bad information and that the seller mixed things up in vague explanations, that's another matter!!
I think you won't be able to do anything unless you can prove that the product is harmful or has hidden flaws (as seen in some previous cases)
