Hello,
As one of the thousands of people owning a Viamichelin with no updates available anymore, I would like to know if it is possible to load a TomTom map onto my Viamichelin? Of course, I want to do this without damaging the device! I am considering placing the new map on an SD card and inserting it into my GPS, but...
Thank you for your responses!!Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

But if it's possible, we don't talk when we don't know anything about computers. My viamichelin works very well with tomtom 6.20 and a Europe map; however, I still haven't managed to get tomtom 7 to work, I think I don't have enough memory. Here’s the link to transform your viamichelin:

Normally, by reading the tutorial and having the program and the map, it works, good transformation, see you later.

    Hello,
my x950t France was no longer of much use to me... no more travel in France for work. Unfortunately, now that the holidays are approaching and I will be traveling a bit in Europe, here I am feeling like an idiot with a GPS that I can't update (I'm on Linux) and for which the European maps are no longer sold even at Via Michelin....
I downloaded the small program (the stable V2, not the v2.5 beta) and installed it on the GPS's SD card... the additional features are pretty good... it's a shame that CorePlayer and VSnotePad are paid... but it's not bad... That said, the big downside is the version of TomTom to install on it to make the GPS work = 6.20... Where can we find that now?! Can you help me with this?
    thanks
    best regards

    Hello,
very late response but yes it works.
The GPS via Michelin is actually a pocket PC running on Windows Mobile or Windows CE. So with the right version of TomTom (an old one like 6.0), it should work.
Be careful: the RAM memory is very, very limited...
Here is some information to tinker with it and install games or GPS radar applications

Fortunately, you are here, but 6 years after the question, it's a bit long.

Are you a digger or an archaeologist? Because you are digging deep.

I don't know if he's a detractor or a troll, but he might be like many others: he bought this GPS for €3 or €5 at a flea market and he's going to make it work!

Hello everyone, I’m one of those people who got fooled into buying a Michelin GPS. However, I managed to transform it (x 950) into a TomTom 7 by finding a program on a download site. If you’re interested, I can send you the link via my email milot44@hotmail.com,

for your information, I’m a goat when it comes to computers and I succeeded, so it’s possible for everyone.

      I don't understand this reaction.
I quote "if you're interested, I'll send you the link via my email" what kind of attitude is that!! Does the link belong to you or what!! You're on a GPS forum, so to ask questions, look for things, and help others find what they're looking for, it's called mutual aid or solidarity, apparently you don't know what that is, you're such an idiot, man!!!!
