Hello,

I would like to apply a formula or function to an entire column and/or row in a table.

Thank you for your help, as I often use this kind of functions.

See you later

    Hello,
In Excel 2007 (as well as in other versions, I believe), instead of dragging the column, you can double-click on the small black square (at the bottom right of the cell to extend) when the mouse pointer turns into a cross. The entire column will then auto-fill.

    Another often forgotten option:
If you use a file that does not come from your computer (for example, an extraction from an ERP), it sometimes happens that Excel's "automatic" mode disconnects by itself.

To fix the problem: Menu "Start," "Options," "Formulas" and check automatic instead of "manual."

    Have a nice day!

When I drag down, I only get copies of the same cell! It's not taking the variable change into account.
      Thank you for helping me.
