Hello,
I used Norton Ghost to back up my hard drive, but I forgot the password I set for my backup. Is there a way to recover it (for example by extracting the hash)? I have Norton Ghost 14 and I have two files: a .v2i and a .sv2i
Thanks in advance,

There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello al360ex,
I am Peter and I work for an external Symantec support service. First of all, please know that we are sorry for the problem you encountered. We have informed Symantec's technical support and they have provided us with the following solution:
There is no way to recover your password. This is a protection that has been put in place and there is therefore no way planned to delete it.
Try it and keep us updated on the result,
Best regards,
Peter
