DVD player issue

Hello,

This morning, I plugged in my DVD player (Philips, dvp630/00) and the "Standby On" button keeps flashing, I can't get it to work, even with the remote control.

It's plugged into a scart multi-socket, I tried it directly on the TV, and with each flash, the TV picture glitches.

I pressed all the buttons, unplugged and replugged it but nothing works.

Do you think it's best to have it repaired or to buy a new one?

    Hi!!

    Yeah, go ahead and use the warranty!! You’re supposed to have one for the purchase of a DVD player, they’ll change it for you.
