Hello,
I have a MacBook and when I turn it on, there is a planet that blinks where the apple appears, and I always have to press escape for it to go away. I would like to know what the problem is, please. Thank you!
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 525.20.1

    Good evening,

Your startup disk is probably improperly or no longer selected.

Once your Mac has started up, since it seems to be able to do so, go to Apple Menu > System Preferences. In the window that appears, click on Startup Disk. The window will change and offer you to select your startup disk, click on "Mac OS 10.x.y on Macintosh HD" (10.x.y is the version number of your system). Upon the next reboot, it should work again.

    Best regards.

    Content...

Normally, the Mac is looking for a startup disk to... start :-) You need to select the one you want (usually the HDD or one of its partitions), otherwise it will test all possibilities and end up with the hard drive! It's long....

Please mark your discussion as "resolved". Only you and the authorities can do that.

    Sincerely.
