keyboard shortcut deletion

Hello,

I am using Windows XP and I have a problem with a keyboard shortcut. In fact, I wiped my keyboard with a cloth. Accidentally, and I don’t know how I did it, I created a keyboard shortcut: when I press the arrow key (for example, to delete a word from right to left), it takes me to a blank internet page. I don’t know how to remove this shortcut that prevents me from using this key as I wish.
I hope someone can help me.

Hello, I have a laptop and I can no longer type, whether on MSN, on the internet, or elsewhere.
When I press the "m" key, it closes my windows, when I press "e," it takes me to my computer.
And when I press "r," it opens the search engine built into Windows XP to look for programs.

Hello
you need to go to the control panel
then click on the system icon then hardware then device manager then double click on the keyboard icon uninstall the driver turn off the PC and restart

try again in the control panel
click on keyboard then on hardware and click on troubleshooting and follow the instructions
try reinstalling your original driver that came with the keyboard

Yes, I just uninstalled the keyboard. It restarted and reinstalled it automatically, and anyway no keyboard driver was delivered with the computer. I don't see what I should do.

Hi, it's the same for me actually. Let me explain, I regularly play online games and I have weird key mappings. For example, in Call of Duty, the aim key is ALT and the run key is SHIFT, and every time I use both, it switches my keyboard to American layout. It's impossible to revert the keys in time without getting killed, so I'm begging you to help me remove this F***ING keyboard shortcut!!

Hi Psychotrop.
Alt + Shift toggles the keyboard from French to English, and vice versa.
To keep your keyboard in French:
- start
- control panel
- "regional and language options"
- languages then "details"
- in "settings" and "installed services,"

you click on "English" and click "Remove":))

THE RIGHT ANSWER IS:

There is a problem with the FILTER keys and/or Sticky Keys.
I had the same issue, and I resolved it by testing all possible scenarios until everything finally returned to normal, allowing keyboard use.

Windows, right!

I would lean towards the Filter Keys, found in "Control Panel," "Keyboard," and/or via "Accessibility."

I think I've found it!! (It worked for me on Windows 8)
This "Windows+..." shortcut issue still occurs inexplicably for me.
2 solutions: Your Windows key might be stuck, otherwise do as I do, pretend you're actually asking Windows for a shortcut. Personally, I do "Windows+e" (it takes me to "This PC" where we can see our drives C: D: E: F: G: etc...) Exit, and test it.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it works for you!
