Hi everyone,

I've been wondering about a question that probably doesn't matter much to most of you, but it interests me...

How can you fill or rather replace the values "to be filled by OEM" when you've built your PC yourself with whatever you want...

For example, on a Packard Bell PC, these values are replaced at the factory with "Packard Bell Company...etc".

Is it done in Windows or is it at the hardware level?

Is it a kind of EEPROM MOSFET that needs to be programmed, or is it software?

Come on, surely someone has a little idea....
