      To format or repair the hard drive, you need to:

      If at startup the CD detection is not automatic, go into the BIOS by repeatedly pressing DEL (Delete), F2, or TAB when prompted at the bottom of the screen. In the menu, select "Advanced Bios Features": Enter. Then "First Boot Device" or "Boot Sequence" and if necessary "Second Boot": Enter. Then "Floppy": Enter. Check "CD-ROM" and if necessary "Second Boot": Enter. Press F10 to save. Install the Windows 2000 or XP CD. The computer restarts.       Complete installation or reinstallation of the Windows OS after acceptance
      (do not press a key multiple times again after restarting and leave the CD until the end).

        My Acer 1350 laptop is full and I would like to reinstall Windows XP to completely "regenerate" it. I didn't fully understand your explanations above. Could you please describe the process from A to Z for me, without leaving out any details, as if you were talking to an alien - or to someone with a low level of understanding, whichever you prefer...!!!

    I received three CDs with the computer: a CD number one labeled (bootable), a CD 2 of 1 labeled (XP Home), and a CD 2 of 2 labeled (XP Home). Which one should I put first, and where can I find the CD code?
