AVIRA does not launch automatically on startup.

Hello,
One out of three computers does not launch the Avira antivirus on startup, while on the other two, the umbrella icon appears next to the clock. It needs to be opened manually each time from the start menu (the other two do it automatically) but there is still no icon next to the clock. However, Avira is activated. What steps can be taken to make it automatic? The Zonealarm firewall is set to allow Avira for access and server, and its license expires in July 2009. Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.5

You must have deleted or disabled the Avira service once the PC is launched. Open the command prompt and type msconfig
Choose the services tab and normally you have: Avira Antivirus Personal Edition. Check the box on the right if it's unchecked and it should work. If not, reinstall the antivirus and it will recreate it by itself.

Hello, I have the same issue but for me the box is checked and yet Avira does not always launch on startup: sometimes yes, sometimes no, and it is impossible to launch it if it hasn't done so at startup. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled without success...

In fact, you need to go into your antivirus settings and choose the option to start at Windows startup, and you'll see it will work like a charm.

Hello, go to start menu/run/type msconfig, go to the startup, check Avira, then restart.
