problems connecting to Facebook Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,
since yesterday morning, I can no longer log into Facebook, that is to say the page where we enter our email address and password. A message appears :"Sorry, an error has occurred.
We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can". However, I can log into other web pages without any issues! I don't know what to do for Facebook, it would be really nice if you could solve my problem! Thank you in advance!!!!

Yes, I also found a workaround; you just need to take an email that Facebook sent you, and there’s usually a link in it. Click on the link, and it will send you directly to Facebook.

I have the same problem at home and furthermore, on another machine but with the same connection, there is no problem.
In my opinion, they have some channels available and others under construction for the moment.

Same for me since yesterday. With Internet Explorer, I can't display anything other than the error message, but with Mozilla, I managed to connect. Mac users don't seem to be affected. Could it be a virus or something a bit more annoying than just a problem with Facebook?

Me too, since last night it's impossible to access Facebook, the message in English appears. All my friends can get on, and even on my dad's PC I can connect, so I don't really understand, I think it's something on their end!! Well, I hope so.

Same for me, since yesterday it's impossible for me to connect! I thought it was my PC, but apparently not, as from your messages, I'm not the only one. However, all the people around me whom I've asked are able to connect. I hope they will solve this problem quickly!!

Listen everyone, those who have the same problem as me, I found a little workaround to be able to connect to Facebook. Go to a search engine, type in your first and last name, and then select the link that will take you to your Facebook! I just discovered it right now, and I'm sharing it with you!! And you know what?? It works!! LOL!

Hi everyone, I have the same problem, that is:

To work around this, I tried Mickal's little trick, that is:
In Google, I type my first and last name followed by the keyword Facebook, from there I land on Facebook and I can log in normally by entering my username and password!?

I'm not working again =( It keeps showing me this when I try to log in.  An error occurred while connecting to login.facebook.com.  Secure connection impossible as the SSL protocol has been disabled.  (Error code: ssl_error_ssl_disabled)  I don't know how to do it, I have Mozilla Firefox and it doesn't want to work =(  Please help me  Thank you very much in advance!
