Code 43 : Nvidia graphics card
Solved/Closed
Hello,
I have a problem with my graphics card (Nvidia 6200), I have installed all the Nvidia drivers:
-100.65_forceware_winvista_32bit_international_whql
-163.69_forceware_winvista_32bit_international_whql
-169.04_forceware_winvista_32bit_international_beta
It installs correctly, and once I restart, I get the error message:
Windows has stopped this device because it has problems. (Code 43)
Here is my configuration:
- Processor 1 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (Socket M2)
- Operating System Windows Vista Business Edition (build 6000)
- Motherboard Dell Inc 0CT103 A02
- Memory 2048 MB (2 sticks)
- Radeon X1300 Series 256 MB
I actually want to add a second video card to connect my 3rd monitor.
Best regards

To all the big idiots who think they know everything and dare to say that their GPU is fried. Go hide because: I have the solution.
The problem comes from the driver that doesn't match your computer; I advise you to install the original driver for those who can.
Otherwise, do like me and start downloading ALL the Nvidia drivers and testing them to find the one that won't bring up the error (for example, for me, the 8800M GTX, only the 17XXXX drivers work, the others bring up error 43).
I repeat, stop trying to show off your knowledge all the time to say nonsense :)
Furthermore, another problem that some may encounter: you can disable your main GPU and switch to a secondary one using a key (example: M15X from Alienware), and thus the driver won't work either. Anyway, it's a very special case, don't wonder if you might have missed a hidden key on your computer after searching for hours :p (you know if your computer has a GFX up/down mode)-

Hello everyone
I am a beginner in computing, and my HP Pavilion DV9000 has a screen that plays tricks.
Upon closer inspection, in the system, it's the graphics card; Windows has stopped this device because it has problems. (Code 43)
The solution to fix my problem was to seal all the air vents, cooling, and the fan with adhesive tape, and to wrap the computer in a blanket.
I let it run for 30 minutes with 5 YouTube videos; it got very hot.
I turned it off and then turned it back on.
Magically, it works wonderfully, no repairs or big bills. -
Right on target, hmdll! For a while now, I had been experiencing "freezing" issues when I started playing. After installing the Nvidia driver 29610, it got even worse. Error code 43, resolution 800*600, and as soon as I switched to Windows, pixels and lines were all over the screen... So, I installed an older driver, and, oh, miracle! Windows detects my card and the pixels are gone.

Hello,
I recently bought a Dell Inspiron i5 2430 M equipped with an NVIDIA GT 525 M graphics card, "I am using the original Windows 7 Starter 32-bit" which will serve me for 3D graphics and gaming. Unfortunately, a detail that I didn't pay attention to at the time of purchase, the laptop is also equipped with "Intel HD Graphics 3000.
Despite several attempts to install the drivers for the NVIDIA GT 525 M found on the NVIDIA website:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en
http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7-winvista-301.42-whql-driver-en.html
I had the same issue even after uninstalling the Intel HD Graphics 3000 drivers, I got a black screen on startup.
Please is there a genius who can help me?
