Unable to reset PC

Solved
Hi,

Last night I had a problem with another PC running Windows 10. I started a reset yesterday morning but it stopped at about 20-30%, I would say (I couldn't see how far it got before the reset stopped) "an error occurred while resetting your PC" that's the error message.
So then I tried the sfc /scannow command or chkdsk /f or /r.
But that doesn't work either.
Now there's only one choice left for me, I don't even know if it will work: I can downgrade my system, goodbye Windows 10 hello Windows 7.

So, before downgrading, I would like to try to do something.
Does anyone who is or was in the same situation as me know what I should do?

Thank you
Rayker

    Yes, you can download W10.
If you have a 4 gig USB key, choose to install the program on the key with the Media Creation Tool.
With this key in the PC, you start it and immediately press the boot menu key, I think it's F12 for Dell, check.
Select the USB key and then press enter.
There you install W10 on the partition where the system is by formatting it.

    1. But I can't seem to select the USB key... Well, I think I'll test that tonight if I have the time, and if I have a problem, I'll get back to you.

      Thank you.
    2. Cado, I can't access my USB drive...
    3. I can't do anything at all.
As soon as I launch "USB Storage Device" I get "Preparing Automatic Repair."
    4. Well, upon reflection, I think the hard drive is dead, but it's an old computer. If you have a solution, let me know! I need you!
